Hi, I’m Hallie.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC. I received a Master of Social Work from Washington University and a Bachelor of Social Work from The Ohio State University.

My experiences as a therapist include working in Inpatient Hospitals, Partial Hospital Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for eating disorders and mental health.

My passion for treating eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and anxiety disorders stems from years of working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I believe therapy is a great opportunity for people to gain insight and create fulfilling lives.

My Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process. My primary objective is to provide you with a judgment-free, supportive space that cultivates self-awareness with desired behavioral change. I will help you identify triggers and learn new coping skills to promote your personal growth.

I use evidence-based practices (Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy). I have a direct yet warm approach. I strive to provide client-centered care that highlights your strengths with compassion and understanding.

I am passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples. Taking the first step takes courage. I look forward to working with you to help you meet your goals.
